Pre-Filter Activation
The CT Unit experienced high power activation with the filter installed in bypass configuration. In other words the CTPF was not utilized. Note below the excessive impulse counts as well as high noise levels on all three phases. The impulse threshold level was set to 20 volts. This bombardment of high voltage impulses is certain to damage sensitive electronic equipment as well as cause latent, progressive damage.
Post-Filter Activation
The CT Unit was then de-activated while the CTPF was mechanically and electrically initialized. Under the exact same high power activation and impulse threshold level as above, the results below are tabulated. Note the reduced noise level as well as the “0 counted” impulses.
